Margaret Atwood would rather break up her country
So Ms. Atwood is encouraging Quebecers to vote for the Bloc if it means preventing a Harper majority. So getting taxpayer money is more important than our country itself? Am I missing something here? She's supposed supports Canadian culture, but is telling people to support a party that wants to rip our country a part? Wouldn't that be BAD for Canadian culture? I'm sure she thinks using taxpayer money is "generous", but for a literary writer, she has a poor understanding of the meaning of words. Taking money forcefully from people is theft. Using the powers of the state to do that is driven by greed, not generosity.
